University Covid regulations for on-campus events: please read!

We are delighted to be able to welcome visitors onto the University campus for our planned Dante: libri nuovi event. This has been organized in line with University Covid safe-working conditions and we ask that everyone travelling to the campus reads and abides by the following guidelines:

  • Any attendees with symptoms prior to attending, or during the workshop, should book a PCR test and self-isolate, as per government guidance.
  • Individuals should take two lateral flow tests 3-5 days apart prior to coming onto campus.
  • Face coverings should be worn indoors, including in the corridors and whilst seated in the Lecture Theatre.
  • Good hand hygiene is encouraged – there is hand sanitiser available at the main entrance of 7 Woodland Road and in the Lecture Theatre, and hand washing facilities nearby.

The Lecture Theatre has tiered seating with a capacity for 240 people. Visitor numbers will be capped to ensure that people can spread out in the space.

Following the presentations, there will be a wine reception and opportunity to look more closely at the artists’ books in the break-out space outside the Lecture Theatre. Please only remove your face covering when necessary.

Please note that all University events are subject to local and national Public Health restrictions. We will post any updates on the Blog and keep you informed of any changes if you have signed up for a free ticket.
